See the links for installing and updating Transfer Manager here. IMPORTANT: Make sure your version of Transfer Manager is up to date. The " Creative Cloud Desktop App" can be downloaded here. If you are not sure about your login credentials for Adobe Creative Cloud, please contact your IT department. Your Creative Cloud account will be managed by someone in your organisation. To install Adobe InCopy 2023 (v 18) you must have a Creative Cloud account with a paid subscription for InCopy and the "Creative Cloud Desktop App". To be able to use 2023 you'll need to update your Transfer Manager to 1.6.2, More information on this can be found here. To avoid overwriting the older versions, you can disable the "Auto-Update" feature in Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop. We also recommend that you do not uninstall older versions of InCopy. We have 3 other Macs working in the same environment/version OS X - none of those experience this problem.Īdding insult to injury, when opening a "damaged" file, it sometimes ignores the latest "save" and reverts to an earlier save - I don't have to tell you, that this is BAD (and that it has already cost us money!).Please note that we recommend using 2023 (v18) for the upcoming season (updated October 2023). I have made a Repair run with Disk Tool, but no errors was found.Īnd the result is the same every time - I works just fine with the first couple of files, I open - then it starts with the "File is damages" and so on.Īs strange as it sounds, I can (most of the time) bypass this error, by finding and double-clicking the indd-file in Finder and open it that way. I have made multiple resets of preferences, installed and uninstalled both 20 (same problem in both) and I have even done a reinstall of OS X Monterey.
